Artist Statement
I’m a Wyoming artist focusing on landscapes and history. My recent oil paintings are an effort towards accurate historical narratives in balance with romanticized visions of the past. These depictions are centered around the wilderness explored and inhabited by previous generations. I find inspiration in classic Western illustrators, Renaissance art, the Hudson River School, and tonalism.
